She was born August 31, 1930 in Columbus, daughter of Charlie and Alma Stephens Wiley. She was a member of New Bethel A.M.E. Church. She was a graduate of Spencer High School and Fort Valley State College. SHe earned her Masters Degree from Columbus University. She retired as a teacher from Muscogee County School District with over 30 years service. Survivors include a son, Henry (Loretta) Alexander of Wetumpka, AL; a grandson, Austin H Alexander; 2 brothers, William Moses and Charlie Wiley; brother in law, Eddie (Carla) Alexander of Columbus. |
