He was a Baptist. He worked for Lynbrook Auto Spring and joined the Grumman Aerospace Team in the late 1960's. He retired from Grumman after 15 years service. He also worked at Roosevelt Raceway. He and Edith Bryant were married on May 30, 1959. They were members of Antioch Baptist Church in Plains, GA.
