He served in the US Army for 9 nears and was a supervisor at Swift Spinning and coach for Salley League White Sox Baseball team. Surviving is his son, John Farley of Lansing MI and Travis Starr; brothers, Ransom (Kate) Farley, Jr., of Augusta, GA, Eddie Farley and Herman (Barbara) Farley of Columbus, GA; sisters, Betty (Charlie) Ghant, Ida (Edward Walker, Sarah Meadows and Grace (Eddie) Calloway; a grandson. |
