He was born February 9, 1931 in Chattahoochee County, GA, son of West and Rosie Lee Hughey Jackson. A daughter, Linda Jackson, preceded him in death. He was a member of St Paul C.M.E. Church. He retired from Tom's Foods with 35 years service as a fork lift driver. He was a US Army veteran, discharged November 2, 1954. Survivors include his wife, ROsie B Radney Jackson; children, Prentis Jackson, Mariah (Curtis) Fowler, Charlie (Darnita Jackson Jr, Shirley Jackson, Beverly Jackson, Thomas (Bridgett) Jackson and Willie (Jacqueline) Jackson; a niece, Ella Jane (William) McKinney; 13 grandchildren, 3 grand children, Annie Frances Weaver and Robert Hughey.
